Before you hire
Ask whether the contractor needs a Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors (LSLBC) license or registration for your job and look it up, ask for proof of liability insurance, and confirm who handles permits and the Louisiana 811 utility locate. Get a written quote that lists building size, steel gauge, doors, insulation, engineered drawings, slab or site work, delivery and erection.
